Triple Chocolate Cookies Recipe

This chewy-on-the-inside, crispy-on-the-outside cookie is a chocolate lover’s dream, full of white, milk, and dark chocolate chunks.

Ingredients

1 1/4 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. fine salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
8 Tbs. unsalted butter (1 stick)
6 oz. bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
2 large eggs
1 large yolk
1 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
6 oz. white chocolate chips

Directions

Whisk the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cloves together in a medium bowl. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove pan from the heat, add the bittersweet chocolate, then set aside until melted.

Homemade Chocolate Truffles Recipe

Ingredients

1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 C. orange-flavored liqueur or 1 tsp. orange extract
1 can chocolate or fudge frosting
Toppings: Coconut, chocolate sprinkles, ground nuts and cocoa

Directions

Melt chocolate chips in medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Stir in orange liqueur and frosting; blend well. Refrigerate 1-2 hours or until firm. Place coconut or other toppings in pie pan. Scoop mixture into 1″ balls; drop onto topping. Mixture will be sticky. Roll to coat. Place in foil candy cups, if desired. Store in refrigerator.

Yield: 6 dozen

Chocolate Fantasy Bars Recipe

Chocolate cake mix and chocolate chips make a very chocolaty cookie.

Ingredients

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (2 layer)
1/3 C. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 C. chopped nuts
1 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Dash salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With mixer on medium speed, beat cake mix, oil and egg in large bowl until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Set aside 1 c. of crumb mixture. Firmly press remaining mixture on bottom of a greased 9×13 baking pan. In small sauce pan, melt chips with condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Pour evenly over prepared crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture evenly over top. Bake at 25-30 minutes or until edges are firm. Cool; cut into bars. Drizzle with tube decorating icing if desired. Store loosely covered at room temperature.

Chocolate Dream Bars Recipe

German chocolate cake mix, oats, chocolate chips and coconut makes this dessert a true dream come true.

Ingredients

1 (2 layer) German Chocolate Cake mix
3 C. of old fashioned oats
1 C. (2 sticks) butter or margarine; melted
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 C. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 C. shredded coconut
3/4 C. chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, combine cake mix and oats. Mix well. Add butter and beat mixture on low speed until it clumps together and all the dry mix is moistened. Press half of the mixture in a greased 9×13″ baking pan. Pour condensed milk evenly over batter. Sprinkle chocolate chips, coconut and pecans evenly over milk. Crumble remaining mixture over all ingredients. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool well before cutting into bars.
