Sugarless Apple Cookies Recipe

With no sugar added, the only sweetness in these cookies comes from dates, apples and raisins.

Ingredients

3/4 C. chopped dates
1/2 C. finely chopped peeled apple
1/2 C. raisins
1/2 C. water
1 C. plus 1 Tbs. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 eggs
1 tsp. liquid sweetener

Directions

In a large saucepan, combine dates, apples, raisins and water. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat; cool. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt, if desired. Stir into apple mixture and mix well. Combine eggs and sweetener; add to batter. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a nonstick baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Sugar Free Chocolate Pecan Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

2 C. Bisquick
2/3 C. brown Sugar Twin
1 box (4 serving size) sugar-free instant butterscotch pudding
1 box (4 serving size) sugar-free instant chocolate pudding
4 Tbs. butter, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 C. mayonnaise
2 1/2 oz. chopped pecans

Directions

As listed, mix all ingredients together, beating well after each addition. Drop dough by teaspoonful onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 16-18 minutes or until firm. Cool on pan 5 minutes and then transfer to paper towels.

Yield: 4 dozen

Sugarless Brownies Recipe

This recipe is sugar-free because it uses brown rice syrup instead of sugar. Using brown rice syrup also reduces the amount of calories. For another variation, try using brown rice flour instead of wheat flour.

Ingredients

1/2 C. brown rice syrup
2 Tbs. unsalted butter
3 1 oz. squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 C. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 C. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and chocolate on low heat. Thoroughly stir in brown rice syrup and remove from heat. Blend in eggs one at a time and add vanilla. Stir in flour and pecans or walnuts. Spread in a greased 8×8-inch baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. Cool and cut into squares.

Reduced Sugar Date Bars Recipe

Cut down on your sugar consumption and still enjoy a delicious treat with this recipe. Use a brown sugar substitute for a sugar-free version and to reduce calories.

Ingredients

Crust and topping:
1 C. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
3 C. uncooked oats
2-1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. brown sugar

Filling:
2 packages (8 oz.) dates, chopped
1 C. boiling water

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together shortening, salt, oats, flour and brown sugar. Save 1/3 of the mixture for the topping and press remaining mixture into bottom of lightly greased 9 x 13 pan. Cook dates
and water until thick (if too thick, add a little more water). Cool. Spread on top of crust. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 reserved oat mixture on top. Bake 20 to 30 minutes (they are more chewy at 30 minutes).

No Sugar Raisin Cookies Recipe

All-natural and delicious, these cookies have fresh apple, oats and walnuts for a wholesome – and sugar-free – cookie.

Ingredients

1 1/2 C. raisins
1/2 C. peeled, cored and chopped apple
1 C. water
1/2 C. butter
1 C. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 C. quick cooking oats
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 C. chopped walnuts

Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine the raisins, apples and water. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the butter. Set aside to cool. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and baking soda. Stir in the vanilla, eggs and the apple mixture until well blended. Fold in the oats and nuts. Cover dough and chill 8 hours or overnight.
