Delicious Cookies Recipe

Cornflakes cereal is the secret ingredient that gives these cookies a little extra oomph.

Ingredients

1 C. granulated sugar
1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
1 C. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 scant C. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 C. dry oatmeal
2 C. cornflakes cereal

Directions

Cream butter and sugar until soft in large mixing bowl; stir in eggs and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Yield 6 to 7 dozen cookies
