Under Biscotti+ Spice and Gingerbread Cookies
A Sicilian specialty, this recipe produces a relatively hard biscuit — perfect with an afternoon cup of coffee.

2 C. unbleached all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 C. sugar
2 large eggs
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Tbs. minced zest from 1 lemon
1 Tbs. anise seed

Under Biscotti
Most of us have a special memory or a trinket or two that make us think of our mother’s love.I have a red cookie tin. After my mom passed away I took her red cookie tin.She would make her favorite biscotti and we all knew where to find them. Now my family always look for that red tin,they cried Biscotti,just like Grandma used to make.
