Blonde Brownies with Brown Sugar Frosting Recipe

1 C. granulated sugar
1/2 C. packed brown sugar
1/2 C. butter (no margarine)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 C. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Brown Sugar Frosting:
1/3 C. butter (not margarine)
2/3 C. packed brown sugar
3 Tbs. milk
2 C. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 C. chopped pecans
