Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

Simple to make and taste just like the real thing.

Ingredients

2 sticks (1 C.) margarine, melted
2 1/2 C. powdered sugar
1 C. chunky peanut butter
1 C. graham cracker crumbs
12 oz milk chocolate (chocolate chips or bar)

Directions

Line a 9×13″ pan with parchment or wax paper. Mix 2 sticks of butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter, and graham cracker crumbs. Spread mixture on the bottom of the pan. Melt chocolate (see note) and spread over mixture in pan. Let set in a cool place. Remove from pan and cut into desired shapes.

Note: You can melt the chocolate either in the microwave or in a double boiler:

Baby Ruth Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 C. butter, softened
3/4 C. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/3 C. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Baby Ruth candy bars (2.1 ounces each), chopped

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in candy bars. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. Apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Immediately remove to wire racks to cool.
